Specials, Autumn Cooking Classes and Easter dates

It's been a wonderful, long warm Summer - we have run our Summer Season of cooking classes, we have delivered picnics to open gardens, weddings and fundraisers, we have sold lots of Summer specials and now it's time for some rain and our favourite season - Autumn

Many of you would have noticed by now, that we have changed our trading hours this year. After 10 years of trading 6 days, we have decided to mix things up a little - this gives us some flexibility and time to work on new projects (and it also helps us manage wage costs.)

Saturday 1st March - WOODEND FARMERS' MARKET

Saturday 8th March - Autumn Cooking Class

Thursday 20th March - HOT CROSS BUNS available in store

Saturday 29th March - Hot Cross Bun Making Class

EVERY FRIDAY - Friday Night Pizza Night MENU HERE

2025 Trading Hours

Wednesday 10am - 4pm

Thursday 10am - 4pm

Friday 10am - 7.30pm - includes Friday Night Pizza Night returning

Saturday 9am - 2pm

If you ever need anything outside of these hours, please contact us - we are often around anyway.

AUTUMN COOKING CLASSES

Autumn is the best season for baking, preserving and stocking the pantry with wonderful things. We have a range of classes throughout Autumn with a focus on seasonal produce, pastry techniques, Hot Cross Bun making and pickling & preserving. The Autumn Series kicks off with this wonderful class ....

The Autumn Class - a little bit of everything

Saturday 8th March 11am - 2pm $195

The perfect class to learn a whole range of skills and find some inspiration. You will make short crust pastry and an Autumn vegetable quiche, a seasonal salad & dressing, a quick pickle and something sweet - and the best bit is you take home your quiche, some dressing, some pickles and your sweet tart.

Class includes recipes, a quick lunch and delicious take home goods, plus lots of time for questions.

MARCH SPECIALS & COMING SOON

This month we will be using up some of our apricot harvest and making a delicious apricot, custard, streusel tart. Our monthly quiche special will be caramelised onion & olive - in store from Wednesday 5th March

We are looking forward to bringing back lots of beautiful Easter products including fish pies, duck & mushroom parfait, terrine & rillettes plus chicken galantines and our very special poached quince & walnut tart - and a couple of new additions. Easter goodies will start rolling out from 20th March.
